The future of US soccer is looking pretty good. The U-23 team qualified for the Olympics in Beijing. Plus they have a rising star, Freddy Adu and Adu was transfered to Benfica but unfortunately it was announced that he would not play for the rest of the season. It seemed that there was a clause in his contract that if he played 20 games, he would have to be payed a huge bonus.
